"Nothing in life is to be feared; it is only to be understood." Marie Curie

These works are created in response to current events - the war in Syria, the refugee crisis, women's rights, in support of science, the arts and education. The paintings will be on display at the Tahoe Activist Artists interactive exhibition, entitled, "We the People: Tahoe Artists Visualize a World of Communication and Connection" on September 9th 2017.

I will be auctioning Marie Curie and Albert Einstein to raise funds to support Metavivor, an organization dedicated to funding research for Metastatic Cancer, and Young Survival Coalition, an organization which promotes education and peer to peer support for young women who have been diagnosed with Breast Cancer. As a survivor myself, I am committed to supporting scientific research, education and patient advocacy.

The event will be held at Tahoe Mountain Lab, on Harrison Avenue & Highway 50 from 4 - 8 pm. We invite the community to join us to March for Compassion to the exhibition along Highway 50, starting at High Vibe Artisan Collective on 3rd st. The March begins at 3pm. There will be a poster making party at High Vibe on Wednesday, September 6th at 6pm. Admission is free, and kid friendly.
